Name: Suzanne Hatcher on Mar 20, 2006Comments: This store will bring too much traffic to 29th/Regal or 37th/Regal intersections. The 29th/Regal option is not good because people will need to make a left there and the inetrsection can barely handle the amount of cars it has now. The 37th/Regal intersection is no better a choice threading high volume of vehicles through an elementary and high school zones. Bad plan. Furthermore the aeas economy is fragile inspite of most area residents having established life styles. Look at all the currently available/vacant space at Lincoln Heights for example. This type of store is NO an appropriate match for the chosen location.Flag

Name: Donna Leonard on Mar 20, 2006Comments: I moved to the south hill for a more quite less traffic life style. Our roads are msall and in poor condishion. I'm a single mom who has to sell her home and fear I wont get what I need from the sale to make a new home for my family. Every place you look is being gobbled up. Pretty soon spokane will look like California and the traffic comes along with over building. Wallmart would hurt already hard working small town people. Closing stores and layoffs. I thought Spokane stood for standing by the little guy. We want to support our small local south hill community!!!!!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 20, 2006Comments: I do not want the added traffic nor the eyesore of a Walmart store on the South Hill. We have 3 in Spokane and I think most of us are willing to travel if we need a Walmart store. Walmart does not bring good jobs, good clientel, or good goods. I live on the South Hill because of the quality of life and the quality of people. Don't let Walmart destroy that.Flag
