The day has come where non-smokers are fed up with inhaling second hand smoke. When non-smokers are in Restaurants, Bars, and Clubs, second hand smoke is forced upon us. The only way to stop this is to ban smoking in all of the previously mentioned types of businesses. Sure smokers have the right to smoke. That right to smoke should be exercised in their personal space and not when they are in a public place.
I do not drink and when I go to a Restaurant, Bar, or Club I have the right to decline a drink if one is offered to me. I do not have the right to decline the second hand smoke that my lungs take in. I am also tired of wearing nice clothes out on the town only to return home smelling like smoke. Please sign this petition to have smoking banned in all Restaurants, Bars, and Clubs in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point NC.
