The current momentum confirms this issue is a priority for residents across the region. I have requested meetings with local health department representatives to discuss the legislative path toward a smoking ban in these establishments.

My kids and I like to go bowling, parks, and schlitterbahn. The bowling alley has a bar in it with a air ventilator but when they open the door all the smoke flows out. The schools have bowling lessons there and the air ventilator doesn't work anyways. We have no choice in the matter of breathing second hand smoke,when my kids and I go to the park we end up walking thru someone's second hand smoke. I shouldn't have to walk around someone smoking or have to move my picnic in parks because of the disturbance of smoking. They should respect others and find a better place that is not a disturbance to others.
totally agree with this. nobody wants to breathe that junk while trying to enjoy a meal
My husband has asthma and we literally cant go to restaurants around here without him having a flare up. This needs to change.
If people want to kill their own lungs that is their business but keep it away from me and my family.
Sick of coming home from dinner smelling like an ashtray. Just ban it already!!
I hate cigarettes...GET RID OF THEM!!

Australia banned cigarette smoking in public places years ago, why is the US always behind!?
