Name: Jane Eisele on Apr 3, 2007Comments: NO SECOND CHANCE AT TAKING THE LIFE OF AN INNOCENT CHILD. NO SECOND CHANCE AT VIOLATING ANOTHER INNOCENT LIFE. We need to honor the obligation to protect our children and to forget about the rights of criminals once they've proven to be more dangerous than a rabid dog.......... which we would properly dispose of promptly.Flag

Name: Tia Owen on Apr 4, 2007Comments: Enough is enough and it has been for decades. The time for this to come to an end is way past due. Our children deserve better from our system. What ever happened to the notion of "Children First" If our laws are not changed we are only fueling the fire. The victims will grow to become abusers. Stop the ABUSEFlag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 5, 2007Comments: There has got to be a permanent solution to protecting all children, these monster do not deserve a sceond chance. They did care anything about their vicitims. And they need to be dealt with in a more timely manor. Why should they sit in jail and enjoy all the comforts of home when so many children and lost their lives or innoncese! Our elected officials should have to stand up and do what they were elected to do. Protect the innocent! And make the offenders pay with their lives!Flag

Name: Margaret on Apr 5, 2007Comments: We need to protect our children, and not allow for this to continue to happen to other inocent children. Everyday we have bad news about children being killed by someone who must be insane to hurt a child. There should be NO SECNO CHANCE TO CHILD MOLESTERS, to some who did not give Christopher a SECOND CHANCE. and for all the other Christopher's in the world that won't have a second chance because the law is linient to those who hurt our children.Flag

Name: Marsha A. Roder on Apr 5, 2007Comments: How can these child molesters and murders get such a light sentence .. i thought murder was a CAPITAL offence. I do voluteer work for a Shelter near me and know a LOT about sex offenders .. in Wisconsin it is a much harder sentence than mentioned above. Hope something good can come out of all this horror commited on our innocent children.Flag

Name: Lisa Dalrymple on Apr 5, 2007Comments: NO SECOND CHANCES should be given to anyone who abuses (whether physical or sexual or mentally) a child. Most of these children won't get a second chance. If they live, they won't ever have any type of a chance at an innocent childhood filled with happy memories, and if they are killed, well, then they don't get a chance at all. Why then, do our court systems allow the predator even a second chance. I say that if a person does anything at all to harm a child, to put that child in harm's way in any way, shape or form, then let the punishment fit the crime. If that means death, so be it, if it means life in prison, so be it, if that means, castration, a prison sentence on death row, then death, so be it.Flag
