Our children are those that deserve the chances of a normal healthy life, not one of being an assault victim, their selfesteem damaged for life, feeling dirty, not having the coping skills to deal with these nasty derelicts who prey on the children of peope who trust them. I was once a victim of a trusted friend and neighbor of my family. It hurt everyone and there was no price for him to pay. The burden was carried by me my entire life, but I have refused to be defined by that happening. He is dead and I have yet to have seen anyone cry a tear or mention his name since. |
