Comments: I read the G. Edenfield had just gotten out of court three days prior to abducting Christopher. He was put on 10 year probation because he was living in a residence that was close to a playground. So then he moved to a trailer where 5 days a week kids get on and off buses right in front of his house!! Tell me why weren't they monitoring where he stayed. Why didn't they set him up somewhere where children aren't Why

Comments: I can't believe this happened to one of our own children. Everyday my wife and I got to wal-mart she would look in the display case to see if any children from our town was missing. Never in a million years did we think the day would come where we actually saw one. I can't believe this happened. It makes me sick because I have a daughter and I don't know what I'd do if his happened to her. My blessings and deepest sympathy to the Barrios'

Comments: This wouldn't of happened if they did something about it sooner. G. Edenfield or any of his family shouldn't have even been let out of jail or allowed in that neighborhood. Esp with schools right up the roads and kids living in and near that area!

Comments: As a victim of these monsters; I whole-heartedly agree with not allowing them to return to society... NO! They are not rehabilitized; my monster saw me in the city and lurked me as if I did something wrong! So not only to prevent them from the violent act that poor Christopher had to endure, but also to allow the children some peace, leave them in a 5x5 jail cell with someone else who knows the pain and terror that many of us had to endure. I am a survivor of the result of allowing one to go free BUT I still hurt after 25 years! There is NO excuse for their actions and I believe by signing this petition, it won't save Christopher Barrios Jr. but it may prevent another child having to go through such a tragic occurence!

Comments: This is true and I have to agree completely with the petition. No one must harm a child in any way becuase they are a gift from God and we must cherish them with all of our heart and soul. These children were innocent and they had to die because the government does not do anything anything about the sitution of child offenders. We must stand together as one, so we can pervent another precious child to get hurt, traumatized, tortured, or even worse...killed.
