I live on the on the south banks of the Tees and Cleveland is still used in postal adddress although like Humberside no longer exists. I would like the Post Office to use the three Yorkshire Ridings in addresses to represent our historical county.

315	Alan Woolfitt	I would also like to see the removal of North Yorkshire from Y042 postcodes. I live in Pocklington which is in East Yorkshire, but a similar problem exists, we are described as North Yorkshire on all comercial mail. I also believe that many people outside the county do not know the name East Yorkshire, they only know Humberside due to wrongly named articles in the media. The English tourist board are still using Humberside instead of East Yorkshire. Mr . Stuart this may be a bigger problem than you first imagined. 345	Anonymous	The term North Humberside is outdated, and historically incorrect. We are and always have resided in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is high time that this was recognised by The Post Office. The term Humberside referred to an administrative area covered by a long defunct county council.
