   Comments: Northampton Market has a wonderful history and we are apalled at the uncaring attitude of some Lib/dem Councillors. Markets everywhere should be for the Council Tax paying citizens, it is their market.

   Comments: I am odds to understand why the Liberal Democrat administration are being so hard headed and arrogant over this issue. They have been given access to government funding to improve the Market Square and if they worked WITH the traders and not AGAINST them then so much could be achieved. I challenged Richard Church on this issue at the last Cabinet meeting and he told all those present that Mick Wilson and the Market Traders were now agreed on the plan! Of course this is not the case, but it shows how far some people will go to distort the truth. Good luck in the campaign. You have my whole hearted support. Tony

   Comments: The Market and Cobblers situations are symptoms of a council that believes it knows better than the people of Northampton. Through combined pressure we have to remind them they MUST LISTEN to the people they are elected to serve if they are to ever develop the town in the best interests of those people.

    Comments: Keep the market going. It would be a sad state of affairs to be living in a market town,....without a market! It should be expanded and made affordable for more market traders and invite foreign traders also. Copy the French and look after our farmers and craftsmen.

    Comments: Keep the market alive. It would be a disgrace not to. It should be expanded not ruined. Northampton town centre has become a joke. Charging for parking alone has destroyed many businesses. Its about time the local council looked after small businesses - no one else does. Fresh produce and products should be available in a MARKET TOWN!!
