Name: Frank Rountree on May 19, 2003Comments: This is an unnecessary road which will overburden Wildewood's neighborhoods. I understand you would like to create PUDs in order to relieve traffic on the Two Notch corridor, but partially solving a problem by creating another is not a very good solution. The Wildewood community was not designed to accept this extra traffic. PLease do not allow this road as proposed. There is an alternative solution that provides access to Rosenberry Lane - a much better answer.Flag

Name: Gary Bruce Thomas on May 19, 2003Comments: There is already a race track through Wildewood with Mallett Hill Road. It is getting impossible to get on Polo Road at certain times during the day. We do't need more cut-through traffic which will contribute to devaluation of our homes & traffic hazards to our kids.Flag

Name: Bob Baucom on May 20, 2003Comments: This proposed development will significantly increase traffic attempting to enter Two Notch Road at an already extremely busy area (at the Sonic where many people are changing lanes in an attempt to turn in by the Sonic/Office Depot/Ryans or going 50 yards farther to the light at the entrance to Wal-Mart. This additional traffic, some of which would attempt to cross two lanes of northbound traffic in order to turn left) is a potential disaster waiting to happen. No developer's personal or financial interest should ever take precedence over the safety of the public. I strongly feel that someone will either be seriously injured or killed as a result of this project being approved. Perhaps the only way to insure the safety of the public would be to put an additional traffic signal at that location & I'm fairly certain the SCDOT would not approve such a request due to the proximity of the Wal-Mart signal.Flag

Name: Kay Burch on May 21, 2003Comments: As president of the Section VII WildeWood Homeowners' Association, I have received many phone calls and e-mails opposing any connecting road through any part of our neighborhood. No one believes that Doug Bridges can be trusted to keep his word on anything - especially after his self-serving use of his former position in the HOA.Flag

Name: Harold Blanchette on May 25, 2003Comments: Putting an access road into a residential neighborhood is only going to increase the incidents of speeding in a very quiet subdivision. There is no earthly reason to open up the neighborhood to outsiders whose only reason for driving in is to cut through. Anyone who wants to get to Two Notch now goes out to Polo and on to Two Notch. No good can come of this and if the neighbors in Wildwood don't want it, why should it be forced on themFlag

Name: Ted Rausch on May 26, 2003Comments: Keep in mind the poor track record of Heath Manning. Wildewood Section VI has gate that are about to be torn down by Kaye Evans since Heath Manning never recorded the deed to the association. Also, Heath never turned the roads in Section VI over to the County even though he said he did. End result is that the homeowners will have an enormous assessment to repair roads. The developers past behavior indicates they will selectively follow through with what ever they say. Some people might say this means they lie.Flag

Name: Elizabeth Ward on May 27, 2003Comments: There are so many alternatives for entrance and exit of this proposed development, that would maintain the integrity of our beautiful WildeWood. I cannot believe that council would vote to put this development in jepardy. If it goes through, I would be wary of just what the council has in its best interests--or whose hands are in its back pocket.Flag
