Comments: I can't believe the Governor would consider a pardon for this excuse of a young woman. She and her family act above the law and she has had many passes on acts that you and me would be held accountable.

Comments: It's to bad that she hasn't been held accountable before now for behaviour that would land any of us common folks in jail. Throw the key away she gives society nothing of value!

Comments: She broke the law. She deserves a punishment and if a judge says 45 days in jail is good enough for him, well that's good enough for me. Now on to the other celebs that find the law "unfair" to them.

Comments: She should be held responsible for her stupid and thoughtless actions. If you ask me, she has already gotton away with too much in this life. I feel that she should be punished to show her that her actions are not tolerated just because she is "famous".

Comments: Why should a movie star get a pardon for their wrong due to their fame I feel it sends a bad message to law abiding citizens like me who follow the law everyday. Paris has been in and out of trouble and I think this could teach her a lesson... that there are concequences for your actions!!!!!!

Comments: Paris Hilton should be held accountable for her actions, just as any other law abiding citizen. Her inability to take responsibility for her own actions attests to the fact that she needs to be taught a lesson. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse to break it.

Comments: Ms. Hilton's actions warrant a more serious sentence than the one granted to her. To pardon her because of her self-perceived "celebrity" is to set a double-standard. She was granted leniency with her initial sentence, and her willful disregard of her probation shows recklessness.
