To NOTTINGHAM CITY COUNCIL From RESIDENTS and BUSINESSES IN the CITY OF NOTTINGHAM Keep Nottingham City and the rest of the county free. No road pricing here. No new parking taxes. No new taxes on business and commuters. No government bribes to coerce travellers onto inconvenient and expensive public transport. The Workplace Parking Levy would be a very inconvenient administrative nightmare for businesses. Besides the direct tax paid to the council, there would be other costs. Even small businesses exempt from the levy would still have to register all their parking spaces, and notify the council if they removed spaces or created new ones, or even if they changed the use of their own parking. The annual charge for each space has to be paid even if some spaces are not used every day. Workers could easily face charges as high as
