Name: Carolyn Gammicchia on Mar 5, 2005State:Country:Comments: Parents have a right to equal representation under the law, even when they cannot afford an attorney. Too know that most trained advocates have more knowledge of assisting individuals with disabilities than most attorneys. Realize too that most attorneys that are familiar with disability issues are few and far between, are very expensive, and very, very much in demand.Flag

Name: Janet Keinath on Mar 5, 2005State: MICountry: USComments: Parents are already at a great disadvantage because we can't afford the experts and attornies fees that the schools get paid by taxpayers. The school knows that and repeatedly violates our children's rights. I am liquidating my retirement assests to fight the outrageous abuses of IDEA, civil right and ADA.Flag
