We the undersigned do promise to boycott any product advertised during any National Rugby League Grand Final played at night. This includes products advertised during the match, as well as during pre match shows, half time entertainment and post match analysis programs. The NRL and Channel 9 have been oblivious to fan's concerns so by this action fans may cause advertisers to think twice about product promotion during the game. It's all Channel 9 understands. Advertisers should realise that 2.5 million people watching 500,000 television sets at 3:00pm, is exactly the same as 2.5 million people watching 1.25 million television sets at 8:00pm.
