Name: Anonymous on Jan 31, 2012Comments: Why should the residents of Ramsgate have to suffer noise polution and the ravaging of house values to line the pockets of Infratil share holders? They have been told they cant do it. Why are they not told to stop asking?Flag

Name: David Mason on Feb 1, 2012Comments: I live right under the approach path to Manston, so I know what it is like during the daytime, at night this would be unbearable. The lies told by Infratil about jobs and benefits to the area are just obscene - only Infratil and it's shareholders will benefit and we ordinary people will suffer. NO NIGHT FLIGHTS!Flag

Name: John Mason on Feb 1, 2012Comments: If night flights are allowed then all the flights will be noisy heavy freight tugs, that is certain. Other airlines have tried to run scheduled flights from Manston and FAILED, Infratil do not have a magic wand, just a big greed for profit!Flag

Name: E Nottingham on Feb 5, 2012Comments: I feel that tourism would be better in the way of jobs in Ramsgate,Look at years gone by we boomed and I know that a lot of people go abroad now,but if we adjust our thinking on what we have to offer at,Ramsgate ,Margate and Broadstairs Good beaches Wonderful harbour,Parks and gardens and some very good Hotels, and guest houses, and lots more. But how can we expect to encourage people to come to Ramsgate,if we get night flights we would never see them again. Most of the people who are against night flights ,are quite happy for the airport to succeed but by using the day time hours, there are plenty of hours for them to land and take off between the hours of 07.00am to 22.00 hours use this time not when Ramsgate needs to sleep. We have had quite a lot of planes coming and going out after 12.00 midnight .Do They Think That We Don't Hear Them Well We Do ,but it no good contacting the airport they don't even bother to answer the phone.Only the people who are affected should be asked to vote.If you go to Margate you never hear anything, and I have never heard a plane in Broadstairs either. But I have heard them at Hernebay, also I think Upstreet on the way to Canterbury .I hope someone will take the time to read this, thank youFlag

Name: Dawn Gray on Feb 7, 2012Comments: We live in Cliffsend & while we want the airport to succeed, it should not be to the detriment of local people just to increase Infratil profits. Their claim of several thousand jobs being created is unrealistic, & night flights will not increase employment, but it will create misery for all those living under or near the flightpath.Flag

Name: Michele Hardy on Feb 9, 2012Comments: I would be greatly affected by the night flights as I live in central Ramsgate. I feel that locals quality of life is the most important thing and if night flights were passed, the growth of the area would diminish rapidly as people would move away. The level of the noise would be unbearable to live with.Flag
