Name: Anonymous on Jun 12, 2009Comments: I am very glad that someone else can see that the late night flying is not on .All of Ramsgate is affected already ,dirty fumes etc coming from the planes as they land, and the planes that are supposed to be quiet and are not.I have contacted the airport several times regarding planes arriving in the middle of the night .Sometimes they send you a form asking daft questions like ,what colour was the plane ,how many engines did it have.Quite good seening its dark or that you were asleep until the plane woke you up.Even if you filled in the form they never sent a reply,I think they think that if they ignore you, then you will give up .Then they can say no one is complainingFlag

Name: Alan Moss on Jun 18, 2009Comments: In Upstreet we already suffer from excessive noise from Manston flights, particularly training flights practising take-offs and landings which produce low flying and extreme noise every 10 minutes at times. There should be no relaxation of the ban on flights between 11pm and 7am which I suspect is being flouted at the moment anyway.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 19, 2009Comments: We are situated beneath the flight path at Ramsgate and when certain aircraft pass overhead, the noise is deafening. To have night flights would certainly keep us awake although the house is well insulated it does not make much difference to the sound of these very noisy aircraft.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 19, 2009Comments: Why are you people always against any development at Manston. Do you really believe that there would be 103,800 flights a year! Perhaps you should get back to the real world and consider the reality of the position of the airport compared to Gatwick, Heathrow or Stanstead which are not stuck out on a limb like Manston. If you are so against any development at Manston which as you know has been there for many years, you should have given this consideration before moving into the area knowing that the airport was there. Surely one must realise that airports generate aircraft (after all thats what they are there for). I would be pleased to see this published for people to read and maybe generate some common sense in this matter.Flag
