Name: Jackie Majors on Jan 8, 2010Comments: Enough is enough. Unemployment is at all time high and Maine residents are barely able to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. These elected officials need to remember their constituants and what they want. I'm totally in agreement with sending all the encumbants back to where they came from to send a message that we will not continue to tolerate the spend, spend , spend mentality.Flag

Name: Kellie Welch on Jan 8, 2010Comments: We are taxed enough, when is enough, enough! The legislators should all be fired. Get your acts together and bring this state into economic recovery by bringing in jobs and being fiscal responsible, instead of taking control of people lives by taxing them to death.Flag

Name: John C. Clarke on Jan 8, 2010Comments: Pulling funding from municipal school districts has the effect of raising taxes, as it will force the towns to raise property taxes in order to make up the shortfall from mandated education programs. This is nothing more than an underhanded, back-door tax increase by the State. Follow OPEGA recommendations to reduce graft, corruption, patronage, waste and fiscal incompetence in state government before extorting more of maine's dwindling remaining wealth out of our depressed and failing economy.Flag
