Name: Simon Good on Feb 13, 2008Comments: i have huge concernes about the rampant development of the oil sands. it is orchestrate by few, motivated by profit and greed, and does more harm than benefit for the majority of albertans. i think there should be serious constraint but there appears to be NONE. shame.Flag

That includes all of the species impacted by further destruction of the environment. We're a part of this environment. What we destroy in it without good reason will come back to haunt us.Flag

Name: Nancy Price on Feb 17, 2008Comments: The decisions the Canadian/Albertan government has been making the last number of years have been embarrassing. I am no longer proud to be Canadian. I think our reputation as a benevolent socially responsible country is a myth. Start making healthy decisions Canada. Get out of Afghanistan, stop Alberta's nuclear power development, make sound ecological decisions. Represent your citizens!Flag

Name: Simon Good on Feb 25, 2008Comments: i am all for a moratorium on oilsands development. i feel strongly the cost far outweighs the benefits, and think its a very self-interested few that can promote oilsands development in at all. so i promote the responsible thing, which is putting a STOP to further oilsands development, and even making those doing the development have to be way more responsible than we are currently insisting they be!!!! thanks...... simon good member of Council of CanadiansFlag

Name: Rueben Tschetter on Feb 28, 2008Comments: The economy of alberta will not falter on the basis of slowing development of the tar sands. No one will starve, as albertans have a ill concieved notion that the PC have given. They have their blinders on and thier heads in the sand. However, if we don't do something about the huge hole the size of florida, there will be a really ugly brown and black monster waiting for us 6 years down the road that will be impossible to control. Let's be proactive about this.Flag
