If your going to remake the nightmare film you need robert on bord. I have seen a massive slip in the film business within the horror films and its a shame. A nightmare on elm street was a great movie - great actors and story. To be honest you dont even need to remake it, it was perfect and still is. But as your more interested in money, then make a remake but with Robert as Freddy.
Good luck but remember , its the fans that make your money, no fans no money = crap movie and crap returns. |

I can only see the new Nightmare being the same thing, just an over-glorified version of a horror classic that somebody decided to rip off and make money off of. Does the word Nostalgia exist anymore? These movies had imagination and really affected people. Horror movies nowadays are just CGI horndogs with over-gratuitous sex and gore. Don't get me wrong, they r fun to watch, but not as scary as they used to be. Plus, you just CAN'T beat Robert Englund. Besides, doesn't Englund own the rights to the Freddy character anyways? |
