Comments: I think it would be ok to sell tickets on ebay at face value, just incase something happens that you cant make a gig but anything other than that is a rip off.

Comments: Agreed entirely! eBay should only allow "Buy It Now" at face value for genuine cases, any others should be pulled straight away.

Comments: Its about time someone did something to stop tickets being sold on ebay and let genuine fans buy tickets. Websites like scarletmist are great, why can't ebay follow their example.

Comments: It's an outrage. I haven't been able to see a massive gig for ages. It does seem very unfair and i am always amazed in our high tech world it can't be stopped.

Comments: I'm with you, went through the same rigmerole as you last week trying to buy tickets for Winter Wonderland. It makes me sick to see tickets on EBay within 5 mins of them going on sale, especially for a charity gig! Sort it out EBay!!!

Comments: Totally agree, buying tickets is getting a bit ridiculous. I personally think all tickets should be sold with names to them, like plane tickets, if you end up unable to go, you dont go; no refunds no handjobs, you just lose the ticket - you cant sell it at mortgage level prices to some poor bloke. Eg:- Chili Peppers: face value ~

Comments: I don't see how ticket agency can't do refunds on tickets you no longer want and re-sell them As long as they haven't already sent them out (which they don't normally do until 14-7 days before), you'd just lose the 'admin' fee Seems like common sense to me!

Comments: I think this whole selling tickets on ebay thing is getting rediculous. I know the feeling about getting the tickets, us true fans are stuck without tickets while people have the nerve to sell them for over

Comments: I wholeheartedly agree with this - we'll never eradicate touting completely and it's been around as long as i've been going to gigs but the situation is spiralling way out of control - despite being a big fan of Ebay it has to be said that they are a huge factor in this rise.

Comments: Ebay, you need to cap ticket prices, to a reasonable price or percentage of the face value of the tickets to cover handling.

Comments: people are taking advantage of ticket exclusivity. but then i guess the same could be said for selling fake designer handbags at get-them-while-they're-hot prices. looks like this isnt the only problem ebay has!
