Comments: Ticket touts should be eradicated completely. They stop hardworking, honest people from being able to see their favourite shows/bands at a decent price.

Comments: Stop those nasty touts making money off genuine fans by passing legislation that prevents them from using whatever contacts it is that they have that enables them to get the tickets ahead of genuine fans. Ticket agencies, or at least some of the staff that work for them, must me complicit with the touts to allow them firt refusal on events. It is unfari and must be stopped.

Comments: There are ways and means to make money but this is simply lecherous profiteering and completely unacceptable. Will any of this profit go to the charity or the entertainers who work hard to put on great entertainment for a reasonable price I think not. It is also preventing people from accessing great music by pricing tickets beyond peoples reach. This is effectively market monopolisation and strictly at odds with a proper functioning economy. It's time to do what we can to stop this trend.

Comments: the promoters could nip this in the bud in an instant if they wanted with an easier refund policy and named tickets policy...but what do they care as long as they sell all there tickets up front!

Comments: I fully agree - getting tickets for virtually any gig in London is fast becoming a joke. Have tried for several gigs in the last few months and its always the same. Organising friends to get tickets bang on 9am has become a military operation, when a few years ago you had at least a few days - People selling tickets a diplorable scum who should get the fuck out of it and let the fans get the tickets, but no, its easy, greed money - at least tradional touts have to work for their money, and I hate them with a passion. Just how do some people get some so many tickets ahead of everyone else We need legislation NOW to stop this happening - people should have a right to buy tickets and sell them back if they don't need them to either the ticket agency, or at a reasonable fee, say face value plus
