We, the membership of 1199 SEIU want to let our union leaders know, we no longer want to negotiate for lump sum checks in our contracts. We feel there is no long term financial gain for us. Every lump sum agreement lessens our salaries for future years and our salaries are now below what is acceptable for the work we perform. We want the leadership to only negotiate for percentage raises for our salaries in the future.
