The 10 minute rule has been established in White Plains High School, and with it, there are dilemnas. The rule causes students to go right in the middle of class periods, and miss the key points of the lesson.

The first and last ten minutes are the best times to go to the bathroom, with the first 10 used for the Do Nows, SWBATs, and letting us know what we're doing for the day, and the last 10 minutes are normally for individual work after teacher has finished their lesson. There is not enough time to go between classes and get to class on time, so we try to go at the very beginning of the class, as not to miss the lesson. The 10 minute rule prevents us from doing this. The last 10 minutes normally is a time where teachers assign us classwork, so if we go to the bathroom then, we're not missing an actual lesson.

If you believe this is a good rule to replace the 10 minute rule, please sign below. It's time for the students to take a stand, and make a change that will truly benefit us.
