    Comments: What really hit me hard was to know that our troops were watching this. They need our support. That was not the venue to give a political announcement. If we agree or disagree with the war we need to support our government and our troops. This is the price we pay for freedom. I think he should publically apologize to the academy if he does not get the award taken away.

    Comments: I understand the Academy Awards Program is for recognition of film achievements and not a political forum. I am confused why Michael Moore was allowed to use it to voice his political propaganda. The Academy should have used better judgment by "downing" his microphone and thus not allowing his misinformed and distorted remarks to ramble on. I find it ironic that Hollywood enjoys the very freedoms that our military fight for, but seem to lack the intelligence to understand how that freedom came about.
