In order for Miley Cyrus to play Janie she would have to be the complete opposite of who she is, which she might not be willing to do. No intention to offend Cyrus but Janie is described as intelligent, sweet, beautiful, yet innocent. Other fans and I feel that Cyrus won’t be able to bring such character to life. Just look at the comments of the article about her being in “Wake” in the side.
Many of “Wake” fans feel as if Cyrus is simply is using this role to show her “maturity” and how she is no longer in league with Disney Channel. I would be grateful if you would sign my petition. Thank You.

I love this book but I don't want Miley to play her. Miley's image will push people away from the movie and she isn't the right person to play Janie. I love this series and I would hate to see it crash and burn because of Miley.
