I along with the the majority peers highly dislike the new locker schedule. This new rule is an inconvenience to us and places an extra unnecessary hassle on us as students. To only be able to go to our lockers after every other period will not encourage to go to class earlier, but only encourage clustering and extra socializing during our idle locker breaks. This rule also causes drawbacks during class because of forgotten items that we miss instructional to go back retrieve, if our teachers allow, or either go the class period without the proper materials. I believe that this new rule is hurting the student body rather than helping us. This is especially inconvenient for students who have two core classes back to back, meaning we have to carry two binders and two textbooks to our classes. As Student Body President I feel as if it is my job to voice the opinion of my peers as well as myself to higher authorities in order to make our school a better learning environment.
