The potential layoffs of Nassau County Employees would be devastaing to the families involved and is NOT the answer to our fiscal crisis. Even though Nassau County employees did not create this mess, many have expressed that they would be more than willing to take a pay cut of up to 7%, in order to prevent even one fellow worker from losing their job. If you agree, let your voice be heard. PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THIS PETITION IF YOU WOULD BE WILLING TO ACCEPT A PAY CUT OF UP TO 7%, IN ORDER TO PREVENT LAYOFFS OF NASSAU COUNTY EMPLOYEES.
