Debbie HowesKeep the shopping in it's own business district, NOT OUR little safe community. It's so sad how big business and dollars are totally ruining our quiant Harford County. Shame on you Mr Klein! We support you locally with a wonderful grocery store, keep that investment and preserve our neighborhood! Don't allow Kohl's to be here, there is one here already, let it be please.
AnonymousI thought Kohls was going into the C-mart location and this location was to be small shops which I was in favor of. I saw the new proposed building and I am not in favor of it.

Barbara KressForest Hill is no place for a department Store. I wish for once people and community would come before money.
AnonymousThe new plan looks NOTHING like the previous plan that was sent to Deer Spring several years ago. Shame on you, Klein's, for trying to destroy our community.
Fred WaltersIt's congested enough in that area, let alone a major department store. I refuse to shop at Kleins anyway.

Becky TitelmanI know that this beautiful community will be ruined by a department store! Please consider the health and beauty of the community, its members, and its families. There is already a Kohl's in the area, why do we need another one? Fight the Kohl's! No Kohl's in Forest Hill!!!!

AnonymousI am wishing you the best of luck. We are also trying to prevent Kohl's in our residential neighborhood on environmentally sensitive land. Please check out our petition at coconutcreekfl.org
AnonymousYou certainly have a good case against, since there's a school nearby. What support is your local government giving, if any? My take is that support is not usually there, the city is usually eager to have the revenue. I hope you are successful in your No Kohl's campaign.

Mark SeayI think the developers of the the planned Kohl's store and the Klein Family needs to sit on Osborne Pkwy during the morning and afternoon school times. Most of the children walk to and from Forest Lakes Elementary School. Many are picked up by their parents in cars that line both sides of Osborne Pkwy and several other side streets during dismissal time. The amount of cars is greater on bad weather days and during the winter. There is only one crossing guard for the entire neighborhood and she stands and directs traffic right in front of the school. Several times a week you can find a police officer giving out speeding tickets along Osborne Pkwy. Speed bumps and islands built on Osborne Pkwy have done nothing to stop the speding cars in the neighborhood. During the weekday evening and weekend times traffic and parking along Osborne Pkwy remains increased due to the Forest Hill Rec Center Sports Programs and the use of the fields behind the Forest Lakes Elementary School. Any kind of additional store front will only cause more traffic problems for the community and only make the area more unsafe for the children and their families who walk them to and from school as well as the ones that play on the Forest Hill Rec Fields for their practice and games. Why not just leave the field empty or donate it to the Forest Hill Rec Center??

Nikki SnyderI moved to Forest Hill because I did not want to be in the hubbub of Bel Air. I frequently shop Kelins Markets as well as the Kohl's in Bel Air, which is plenty close enough for me. I will never shop Kohls or Kleins again if they persist on ruining people's hometown without consideration for their consumers' wants and needs.

AnonymousPlacing a large store like Kohls next to a school and in the middle of a large neighborhood is down right irresponsible. There are definately better solutions, like the one proposed prior to the Kohls plan. Harford County, Kohls, and Kleins should all be ashamed if this proposal goes through.
