Chris Townend | There is no need for a Kohls in this community - I barely shop at the one in Bel Air. Route 24 can not handle any more traffic.
Kim Kilker | IT IS NOT SAFE FOR OUR CHILDREN. THEY SHOULD BE THINKING OF PUTTING IN A MIDDLE SCHOOL WE SURLY NEED ONE OF THEM.
Anonymous | I feel a Kohl's store in Forest Hill will really add to the traffic congestion in our area.
Erin Litzmen | The Klein's family and Kohls needs to seriously reconsider their decision. Such a placement of this store is too close to a school and several surrounding communities.
Elizbeth Hoffman | I don't have any children attending Forest Lakes Elementary but I am still against putting a Kohl's in that location. I believe large trucks using Osborne Parkway would create a huge traffic and safety issue for children attending the school as well as the general public. There are other commercial sites in Forest Hill Kohl's can locate, where there is no elementary school in the vicinity. I personally like the idea of Kohl's locating in Forest Hill, but I believe they can come up with a better site.

Anonymous | The area is not set up for a department store. Traffic and safety will be compromised if the store is built.

Eric Reitz | No Need for this type of business in Forest Hill, we are a small community, not a Bel Air
John Jennings | A 2-story 100K + sq ft. shop is not the best plan for this area. Growth is inevitible but placing something this large that has all the markers of failure will become a hard-to-sell piece of real estate down the road.
Anonymous | No Kohls !!! This plan does not take into account the safety of our Forest Hill children-& not only that but traffic, noise as well... why don't they build down at the old C Mart ??!!!!
Joanie Lippert |
Charles Rindone | This has got to stop. First, we got more drug stores than this area can handle. Than came all of the banks. Now he wants to put that over sized white elephant right in the middle of our neighborhood.

Hector Opulencia |
Adrienne Benner | I don't think a Kohl's store being built beside an elementary school would be a smart idea. This will cause safety issues. There is a huge commercial building not even a mile down the road that would be a more ideal location (old C-Mart), in a commercial area.

Anonymous | There is no need for more big stores; they are destroying communities by destroying their small business base.

Kelly Smith | I would prefer a smaller store at the location in from of an elementary school. I do not oppose a business there but do not support a big box store. I want the villiage shopping idea instead.
| 199 | Barbara A. Teller | I am very disappointed at the amount of commercial growth so close to young families with children.
The Klein family is just plain greedy. |
