Bob Campbell | I strongly oppose the idea of a Kohls in Forest Hill!
Anthony Pernasilice | I was in favor a a community friendly shopping area in Forest Hill. The problem with this large single box store is that what happens when/if it fails. We are left with an empty commercial property that will be impossible to lease.

Lori Cooper | I have three children that will have spent a span of ten years at Forest Lakes after my youngest graduates 5th grade. I care about the safety of my children and one of them is the traffic concern not only by the shoppers but by the 18 wheelers that would be in and out of that intersection for deliveries to the store.
Anonymous | This store is absolutely not necessary at this location. I am most concerned about home values. Does the county realize their tax revenue will drop as our homes decrease in value? Keep the momentum going!
Robin Busch | Forest Hill is NOT the place for a Kohl's box store--especially NOT beside an elementary school.
Christian Wall | Why not use the existing facility of former C-mart

Becki Kail | There should definitely NOT be a Kohls built to the entrance of a residential community - Kohls is a commercial building and should be in a commercial environment - it is also not needed with one ten minutes away in Bel Air.
Connie Schaefer | This is not the place for Kohls. I am concerned about the safety of our children, the traffic in the area and our property values.

John Malwitz | There's a Kohl's less than 7 miles away! This store is not necessary especially on an already overcrowded stretch of road. I will discontinue my shopping at any Kohl's if this goes through.
Patrick Stinnett |
Mark Addy | I just don't see how Harford County, Klein's, and Kohl's can seriously think that this is a good location to put a Kohl's. A huge amount of tax money is going to need to be spent to widen the roads, and safety at this intersection is going to become a real issue. Look at the map on http://www.nokohls.com. They've chosen one of the largest residential neighborhoods in the BelAir area to set up shop. Unreal.

Jim Blanchard | For the safety of the children who attend Forest Lakes Elementary School, please do not have any businesses move in that require goods to be deivered too or taken away in Tractor Trailers.
James McFaul, Jr | Please do not further decrease our property values.

Julie Leary | This is not appropriate. I am sure there are other parcels of land where Kohls can build a new store.

Margaret E. Lavery | This is yet another example of development without any common sense in Harford County. It has to stop.

Diane Cascella |
carl Breschi | there's no need for this store in our community.
| 44 | Kendra Zorn | It is appalling for commercial space to be allowed within a school district as well as residential. It imposes great safety risks to the elementary school by imposing a higher traffic pattern, difficulty in identifying 'stranger's to the area, etc.
As I live within 2 miles of the current Kohl's in Harford County, there is an incredible amount of traffic flow which originates from this store. However, the current locations, because of how the community was developed, does not interfere with the residential districts and local school. Our area was developed with concern for residents, business and traffic flow. Therefore the Festival became a draw for this area.
However, the proposal for this development lacks sensibility and proper planning. It will only harm residents and local school. If this plan moves forward, it will cause a hardship to the area. Other areas need to be considered for this project. As Kleins proports to be 'family oriented', it is a huge mistake for them to sell and put this kind of commercial pressure in this area and goes against the very thing they are advertising. |

Robin Malwitz | I am a customer of Kohl's, however, I will no longer support their business if they go through with their plan to put one in my neighborhood. I feel that it will create an undue amount of traffic that will pose a danger to our children that go to Forest Lakes Elementary, which most of them are walkers. Please do the right thing and rethink your decision to build in my neighborhood. Thank you.
Diane Newton | Inappropriate to the area.
