Name: Anthony Pernasilice on Apr 29, 2008Comments: I was in favor a a community friendly shopping area in Forest Hill. The problem with this large single box store is that what happens when/if it fails. We are left with an empty commercial property that will be impossible to lease.Flag

Name: Lori Cooper on Apr 29, 2008Comments: I have three children that will have spent a span of ten years at Forest Lakes after my youngest graduates 5th grade. I care about the safety of my children and one of them is the traffic concern not only by the shoppers but by the 18 wheelers that would be in and out of that intersection for deliveries to the store.Flag

Name: Becki Kail on Apr 29, 2008Comments: There should definitely NOT be a Kohls built to the entrance of a residential community - Kohls is a commercial building and should be in a commercial environment - it is also not needed with one ten minutes away in Bel Air.Flag

Name: Kendra Zorn on Apr 29, 2008Comments: It is appalling for commercial space to be allowed within a school district as well as residential. It imposes great safety risks to the elementary school by imposing a higher traffic pattern, difficulty in identifying 'stranger's to the area, etc. As I live within 2 miles of the current Kohl's in Harford County, there is an incredible amount of traffic flow which originates from this store. However, the current locations, because of how the community was developed, does not interfere with the residential districts and local school. Our area was developed with concern for residents, business and traffic flow. Therefore the Festival became a draw for this area. However, the proposal for this development lacks sensibility and proper planning. It will only harm residents and local school. If this plan moves forward, it will cause a hardship to the area. Other areas need to be considered for this project. As Kleins proports to be 'family oriented', it is a huge mistake for them to sell and put this kind of commercial pressure in this area and goes against the very thing they are advertising.Flag

Name: Robin Malwitz on Apr 29, 2008Comments: I am a customer of Kohl's, however, I will no longer support their business if they go through with their plan to put one in my neighborhood. I feel that it will create an undue amount of traffic that will pose a danger to our children that go to Forest Lakes Elementary, which most of them are walkers. Please do the right thing and rethink your decision to build in my neighborhood. Thank you.Flag
