Comments: Very important that this change be made as swiftly as possible, Many AA adults entering Duval from out-of-State are horrified after enrolling their children and teens to realize that we are so far behind in acknowledging and recifying such issues!

Comments: I have believed for decades that having anything named after Nathan Bedford Forrest (particularly a high school) is spreading racism and racism in high school needs to be stopped in its tracks, not being glorified in the name of a murderer - regardless of the historical factor.

Comments: How embarrassing to have a school named for a person who stood for everything we hope to educate children against: hatred, intolerance, bigotry, intolerance, racism. Certainly the Duval County School Board can find a person who deserves the honor of having a public school named for him. Please, thak this action as soon as possible.

Comments: The decision to give the Duval County High School on the West side of Jacksonville, the name Nathan Bedford Forrest High School was a political decision drenched in hatred, racism, and oppression. The name should be removed.
