King's Park, one of Bournemouth's green spaces popular with sports clubs, dog walkers and people who enjoy getting out of doors, could soon disappear beneath an ice rink. We do not believe this is the right place for an ice rink and believe that green spaces that can be used by the public for free are extremely important. The importance of getting out and about in green spaces for physical and mental health is well documented, and we do not believe that lack of funds should be a deterrent to exercise. Sign our petition to say no to the King's Park ice rink.

Rachael Siegenberg, United Kingdom4 years ago Comments: Kings Park is one of the nicest fields in Bournemouth and I have grown up with it. I don't agree with it being destroyed by some ice rink.
Benjamin Aldington, United Kingdom4 years ago Comments: Utterly agree. This is certainly not the right space for an ice rink. This green space should remain exactly that for all to enjoy. Might I suggest the old B&Q site opposite Bournemouth station or the old David Lloyd Knyveton Road?
Helen Hotson, United Kingdom4 years ago Comments: Leave Kings Park green, plant more trees and create a lake instead!
