| 503 | Anonymous | There should be no jail in west seattle, especially right by houses and schools. |

| 506 | Anonymous | Why bring a jail to an area that is currently trying to rehabilitate itself? Interbay is a better site for it. |

You wouldn't have to to worry about the community and kids if you didn't put a jail by where families are trying to raise their kids. We are a nice quiet neighborhood area. Let's keep it that way. Keep the extra stress and worry out of our neighborhoods!!!!! |

| 536 | Michael Hager | This is a terrible location for a jail in an area that is finally getting a sense of community, ownership, and neighborhood. If a new jail facility must be created it should be in a more industrial area and there are many to choose from. There is no reason to situate this facility so close to our families and homes. |

| 539 | Anonymous | I have strong concerns about a jail located in my community so close to residentil and schools. I am also concerned about added transportation issues as well as the stigma of a jail in our community |

| 544 | Nancy Sorensen | Why is the South End of Seattle chosen as the dumping place for anything undesireable? We care about our neighborhood and are proud of it, and we resent the City continuing to "dump" on the South End.
The jail belongs in a central location, with easy access to everyone in the City. This means it should be in or close to downtown. |
| 545 | Kristin Rosino | There are too many children and families in this area. Help us build a better community. |

| 550 | Rachel Manion | This would be a blight on our community. West Seattle is a little haven in a big city where raising children and being neighborly is still part of the community fabric. Having a jail in our mix is not part of the society that West Seattle wants or needs. Too much other aspects come along with it, including criminals released from prison after serving their time right on our doorstep. No thank you. |
