| 802 | Anonymous | Say no to Hooters, extremely tacky & out of taste |
| 803 | Janey Barber | Inappropriate. Do we have to import everything from the US? |
| 804 | Anupma Wadhera | |
| 805 | steve walton | What utter rubbish to protest about investment and employment opportunities.
If you have ever been to one of these bars which I doubt very much most of the protester have you will find a relaxed setting with good service and food, and you leave after enjoying the experience. |
| 806 | Rebecca Mills | As someone who lives very close (campo lane) to the proposed site of hooter, I am concerned about the extra noise this will cause & the change of the character of the area, from a classy prosperous square to a sleazy area for drunk men. |
| 807 | Anonymous | do something original, which is would be more open to different types of people. something cultural, quirky and a brill place to visit |

| 813 | a | No-one is forcing any girls to get a job their, and wear skimpy clothes. They will do it by choice. And I can guarantee you that they bosses get 50 times more applications than there are positions. |

| 815 | Gary Lycett | 'Breastaurants' are an abomination! |
| 816 | Cathie Reid | Hope this bar never gets to Sheffield. If people need to frequent such places let them go to the numerous strip clubs in Sheffield. Don't ruin a lovely new area of the city with such a trashy place. Hope the campaign is successful. Good Luck with all your hard work. |

But do it at the right time
You can be slow or fast
But you must get in the line
They’ll always hit you and hurt you
Budweiser and Jack
Theres only one way to beat them
Get round her back
Catch me if you can
Cos’ I’m the Hooters man
And what you’re looking at
Is the master plan
We ain’t no hooligans
This ain’t a football song
With Hooters on her chest
I know she can’t go wrong |

| 838 | Anonymous | Don't give me that crap about women wanting to work at Hooters - some women may want to work there but only because we live within the context of a society which regards "sex appeal" as the main characteristic by which to measure a woman's "worth". It is understandable people want to work somewhere they will get validation and approval but approval based soley on a women's physical appearance is something that should not be supported.
Plus, Leopold Square is lovely - don't ruin it! |

| 842 | C. M. Collins | Isn't everything in life nowadays "sexualised" more than enough without a sleazy reataurant like this adding to our modern culture condoning lack of respect, principles, morals, values etc.?
Say NO to such low life, please! |
| 843 | Anonymous | As a modern city, I can't feel that the use and abuse of women is how Sheffield wishes to be seen. Sexual objectification may be fashionable in some places but is it really in keeping with the equitable and cosmopolitan image Sheffield aims to portray? If you review the law on employer obligations, I think you will find that fighting harassment is one of them. Hooters can only invite such behaviour and cannot be considered acceptable in a modern city. |

| 845 | Vikki Appleton Fielden | As a transplanted Yank (who heard many unkind comments about Sheffield before moving here 9 years ago), I have felt that Shefield is actually sadly underrated, and have been pleased to see it managing to improve its image over the years. I am dismayed to hear that Leopold Square may soon be 'graced' with an 'import' from my native land which makes me cringe with embarrassment.
Whether intentionally or no, having a Hooters as part of our "showcase" city centre redevelopment sends out a message about Sheffield. The question to ask, then, is, "Is this a message we really WANT to send?" |

| 847 | Carrie Dunn | |
| 848 | Caitlin Hayward-Tapp | Such a sexist, degrading establishment should not be accepted by our modern, supposedly progressive, society. It sends out the wrong message about women, and normalises objectification and harassment. |
