| 751 | D Brown | Leopold Square is lovely. I work in Manchester, but am about to move my job to Sheffield (where I live). I love Platillos and am looking forward to Wagamamas opening, but was quite shocked at a place more suited to stag nights opening in such a classy building. |

| 754 | Anonymous | Hooters is not welcome in Sheffield, it's an affront to the people of Sheffield to allow women to be degraded in this appalling way and to pretend it's 'just fun'. It's not fun to be exploited and humiliated. |

| 756 | Anonymous | bring on hooters |
| 757 | Andrew Hawnt | The city doesn't need any more outlets for violence and negativity, and in its current phase of regeneration, a Hooters bar would be a massive step backwards. Lets keep the city moving forward, not into the gutter. |

| 759 | Maria Carroll | The idea of a restaurant based on the sexual objectification of women makes me feel sick. Another step down the road of mainstream pornification. |

| 774 | May | I think that Sheffield does not have the kind of market that Hooter is trying to target.
I also do feel such a shame if that particular area in Leopold Sq will open an establishment like Hooters because as we all know, a mixture of vibrant clientele and not niche market is what drives an area to be vibrant. So far, Leopold Sq has held its own in gaining such a reputation. So it will be a shame, if it revert back to become some kind of red light district when its cleaned itself up over the years. |

| 776 | Anne-Marie Moore | This kind of objectification ad subjectification has been linked to sexual violence. Hooters is simply a skimply disguised strip bar. |

| 778 | Bay Whitaker | This bar sounds awful and I really love Sheffield, my new home... I don't want Sheffield to be brought to this lowest common denominator |

| 781 | laura stevens | no to hooters!!!!! |
| 782 | I Wonteetees | Hooters is Sheffield, pretty scantilly clad young ladies in tight orange hot pants and clinging low cut tops serving your burgers, fries and beer. Heaven bring it on Hooters sick of this namby pamby state where every bleating do gooder gets their knickers in a twist over things which they have no idea, drink beer, smoke, speed, eat burgers, salt, chips and curry. Lust after women, hunt and fish get off your face and enjoy life. Because one day if Mr average Englishman doesnt stand up and be counted the country will be overun with do gooders who never smile cos its banned, live till they are 120 then die of boredom thats if some foreign immigrant allows them to live that long. Now Iam off for a fag in the local pub and beware the cardigan wearing prat who caughs just once and complains, because he will be eating my fag if he does......Aaaaahhhh dreaming of hooters girls, burgers and beer |

| 787 | Gabrielle Ball | It is rediculous that this development is planned for sheffield let alone the upcoming leopold square, if it has to come it should be on arbourthorne or somewhere else which caters for that kind of thing. What would people say if we had a bar/restaurant which had men scantily clad?? as it is we dont, is that not sexist in itself! no to hooters, it will only attract rowdy drunk men and stag groups, not what we want, making women feel unsafe and threatened! |
| 788 | Anonymous | This hooters is no right for girls in sheffield and must be stopped |
| 789 | Anonymous | Hooters will not fit in with the type of restaurants that leopold square is trying to attract. |
| 790 | Laura Sharp | In a world that has become so PC its unreal, how on earth has this slipped through the net. We cannot pick and chose in this way, lets get real. |
| 791 | steve | come on get with the times, if you go down town on any fri/sat nite you will see girls wearing a lot less everywhere!!
go abroad for your hols and loads of women are topless, in front of your kids!
this is harmless fun, behind closed doors, if you dont want to see you dont go in.
about 10 years ago there was a massive industry in male dance troupes, chippendales etc, these guys stripped off to a lot less than shorts and tight tops, did us guys scream about it, no. because if you want to go and have harmless fun on a night out, go for it. but if you dont, dont. but dont get on your high horse and stop us fun loving people doing so. |
| 792 | Anonymous | We have struggled for years to be seen as human beings, not as sex objects, so this is a very backward step. Why should women be asked to sign away their human rights (not to be verbally or physically sexually abused) just to get a job? |

| 799 | Claire Salt | There's many reasons that people will want to sign this petition. I'm certainly not a prude by any means, but I do not want a 'Hooters' in Sheffield, for my own reasons!
