Comments: PLEASE show us the Giro WHEN you say you will show it. It's a great event and I think that it's incredibly rude the way you treat us

Comments: Not able to see coverage during the day I look to the highlights even forcing myself to stay awake, then tenis, it would help even if they state it is cancelled so I don't sit waiting and hoping for a short over run.

Comments: And it's not just the Giro. We have our coverage of Paris Roubaix mucked about with every year, we never get live coverage of Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and had to do without Amstel Gold this year...

Comments: Good-on-you, lets get some official response to this shabby treatment by Eurosport. If enough publicity is generated, and Eurosport are no longer able to guarantee proper coverage of cycling events then perhaps a decent TV company will Regards tomsgrandad

Comments: On Tuesday, you decided to abandon your scheduled live coverage of the Giro that was due to last from 3.00 pm till 4.30 pm to enable you to broadcast Tim Hennman's 1st round match at Roland Garosh. That was the Tim Hennman match that started at 4.40 pm, 10 minutes after the cancelled Giro coverage was due to finish. Pathetic and disrespectful.

Comments: I could (just) understand the Giro coverage being delayed by a live tennis event. But moving it to show recorded tennis is incomprehensible, unjustifiable and disgraceful.

Comments: I agree that the treatment given to the Giro D'Italia by Eurosport is extremely unsatisfactory. Important stages are simply cancelled to make way for repeats of the early round matches of Roland Garros with lengthy presenters' 'analysis' (i.e. waffling and padding). It is a shockingly incompetent way to run a sports channel.

Comments: I fully agree. British Eurosport's lack of respect for cycling fans is disgraceful. They advertise live coverage, when in fact it is not, and their highlights programme is delayed because of the French Open, with no update to viewers on revised times. As regards my subscription, I feel there is a bit of fraud in all this.

Comments: Their schedules are a complete waste of time! I don't object to only seeing part of the racing but it is infuriating when I try to arrange my day around the schedules only to end up watching tennins or motorcycling etc. I really feel sorry for those who have to work during the day and try to set videos etc only to find it was on the other channel/delayed because of the tennis!

Comments: Not only do they ignore their own TV scheduling, but to add insult to injury, British Eurosport 2, the alternative channel that *could* have been used to show the Giro aired North American Lacrosse instead. Presumably North American Lacrosse attracts more viewers in the UK than the Giro if Eurosport's miserable commercial arguments regarding "target" audiences and the need for advertising to pay for the channel are to be believed.
