We, the undersigned, demand that the Federal Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry retract her statement regarding the prohibitation of graphite rods on human power craft and that the Assistant Minister should release the research that lead to this appalling decision to advise kayak and other anglers of the dangers. We will not stand to be returned to the dark days of the Ugly Stick, nor will we fish under the tyranny of the Jarvis Walker Black Queen. We demand our rights be upheld to spend as much as we possibly can on rods that both attract lightning and have a sad tendency to shatter when dropped.
