If the Governments want to censor flickr on THEIR end, that is their incentive, and flickr/yahoo should not get involved, period. |

(1)Yahoo/Flickr should plan ahead in engineering so censorship in any country is made as technically difficult as possible for that countries authorities to achieve directly or indirectly.
(2)That the business of Flickr (& Yahoo) is run world wide so that in countries where censorship is threatened there are no relevant staff in that country available to be prosecuted for non-compliance to censorship. |
