The United Nations and World Bank want to reduce by half the number of people who live in extreme poverty by 2015. But WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU is that extreme poverty can be eradicated RIGHT NOW. Extreme poverty is currently defined as living on less than $1 per day. But if we CHANGE THE DEFINITION of extreme poverty to, say, under $0.05 per day (adjusted for purchasing power parity), then we will most likely eradicate extreme poverty. IMMEDIATELY. Please join this group to petition the UN and WB to change their definition of extreme poverty. Together, we can eradicate it from the face of this planet once and for all. Together, we can make poverty history.
