Name: Shireen Grossman on Apr 25, 2008State:Country: GBComments: I have just had my ears pierced 4x by a gun and i have to say it wasn't that much fun to have pierced. A gun i think is more painful then a needle and as i have just found out it is unable to be steralised. I agree that guns should be banned as they are dangerous and are not a healthy option to use.Flag

Name: Anonymous on May 4, 2008State:Country:Comments: I've got four holes on one ear lobe, and three on the other each done with a gun. I was aware there were risks but not to this extent. I had no idea that something like HIV could be passed through the gun until today. I have no idea where I can get a piercing without a gun, but in future I'll try harder to find somewhere if I get another piercingFlag

Name: Brandon King on Mar 30, 2010State: CaliforniaCountry: United StatesComments: It really is ridiculous that in most states it is illegal to pierce minors in a licensed, reputable tattoo/piercing shop, (even with consent and physical presence of a parent or guardian!!!!!), but there isn't a single law or even a general "no-no" on taking your child to a mall or chain store to have some inexperienced person with not a trace of certification or any education in piercing or even general education in human anatomy, blood borne diseases, infections, or general health pierce people....."Let's just sit this little girl down in our chair and hover over her with some porous, unsterilized, possibly infected, plastic machine carrying hepatitis, and shove a piece of supposedly sterilized, blunt metal that probably 100+ people have touched, through her skin at lightning speed--tearing through all of her skin and causing trauma to the pierced area".Flag
