Comments: There has to be a review by the EPA before any future decisions on Gas drilling are made! How could drilling NOT pose a threat to drinking water... LOOK AT THE RESEARCH FIRST!

Comments: There is no urgent need for more gas. U.S. capacity utilization is still low and unemployment is high. It's just common sense to delay until the EPA has completed its work.

Comments: Please allow the new EPA report a chance to give us more information on safe water before issuing final approval for fracture drilling.

Comments: there are too many unknowns in the hydrofracking process to move forward at this time. The EPA study should be completed before any further action is taken

Comments: Wait for the EPA report to be done before making any decisions. Especially with your staff cuts to the DEC. There are not enough staff to properly provide safety in the "slick water" hydrofracking to keep our waters clean and safe!

Comments: As a recent transplant to Sullivan Country I am concerned that the DEC will get in front of an EPA study that is almost certain to be more researched and informative than the current one. Any repeal of DEC findings caused by the EPA report would only result in millions of tax dollars wasted on a review, when waiting will only harm eager drilling interests. The gas has been in the shale for a while; it can wait a bit longer.
