Greg met Gay in Austin, TX in the Blue Bayou Bar in 1990. They talked, and Greg was right away in love. Gay didn't fall in love with Greg until several months later, after he saved her life on Corpus Christi bay. Then they got married, moved to Wilmington, NC, raised Gay's 3 wonderful kids, ran a cool home furnishings store called 'the Red Dinette' for 8 years. Then ran into rough times after buying a problematic property in West Palm Beach, FL. It turned into the relocation transition from hell, as more and more money was poured into home improvement, followed by the real estate crash, unemployment for Greg, and diminished interior design work for Gay. Mid - summer of 2010 Greg, penniless and in desperation, went clear out to Colorado to temporarily work for an old friend doing paint work. Meanwhile, Gay, still back in North Carolina, got fed up with all the disappointments, lost faith in Greg, got used to being single again, and decided to make it official with divorce. But this is a terrible idea, and it may take 1000's of signatures to change her mind. The reasons this idea is so bad: 1) Greg is still completely in love with Gay. 2) Greg has always been faithful to Gay. 3) Greg has some pretty good ideas for changing his future prospects. 4) Greg is pretty sure he can't live without Gay. 5) Gay will never find anyone who loves her as much as Greg.
