No Coalition Government for Canada

The petition

Canadians expect and deserve their government to be democratically elected. Allowing a coalition government to overthrow a ruling minority government is contrary to the democratic principles upon which Canada was founded. In the event a vote of non confidence in the ruling minority party succeeds we hereby demand that The Governor General of Canada:

1. reject the coalition on the basis that it would not represent a stable government duly elected by the people of Canada; and

2. call a general election to allow the people of Canada to determine who shall lead the country.
