Name: Madelene Gail G. Paquin on Jan 21, 2013Comments: I have never seen so much money be spent in such a reckless way. It is ridiculous how much more that our home taxes have gone up and also how other fees are being raised. I have never seen any other city have a "marquee" on the outskirts of a city unless it is Las Vegas. Using this money was for this was "unreal" and don"t remember being asked to do this. Using our money for improving the grounds entering DH when it was fine. Using water to water the grounds after a soaking rain. Letting the ducks take over our entrance and then putting in a concrete parking area for them when I don't remember even voting for that. Putting in people that we never had any control of for the new government. Things are so out of control that I can no longer afford to live here so I will have to take a loss on my house to live elsewhere. I am an elderly lady that has to live on a small income so my house much go so I can live cheaper somewhere else. I was an original resident of DH and have never seen a place go downhill so fast because it was put in some "greedy hands" that took our money. Madelene Gail Guelfo Boudreaux PaquinFlag

Name: Madelene Gail Guelfo Paquin on Jan 21, 2013Comments: I am in all for dissolving Diamondhead as a city as it was under false pretenses that it came to be. All promises that were made were false and turned around not to be the original ones that were given, This place is over ridden with fees that were not told to the people of Diamondhead. Too many people are having to move as they can no longer afford to live here and I am included in this. Needs to go back as it originally was. Let the people that voted for incorporation pay all the hidden fees that are incurred.Flag

Name: Sam And Carolyn Sapio on Jan 21, 2013Comments: The idea of becoming a city was non-sensical. Now we are going to pay double for what we already had, that's RIDICULOUS... The city should be dissolved the sooner the better.Flag

Name: JR on Jan 22, 2013Comments: A city based upon lies to the naive to buy votes. It should be abolished and returned to the nice neighborhood it once was. Diamondhead lacks all of the amenities that a city should have, and it doesn't need them. It was a utopian neighborhood that will quickly be just another corrupt city.Flag

Name: Cynthia Pierce on Jan 22, 2013Comments: I voted against city. My complaint from the beginning of the incorporation process is that we were only told about all the positive outcomes of incorporation - never the negatives. All change comes with good and bad. I never felt like I was given a full story in order to make my decision. It looks like a lot of these left out negative possibilities are happening.Flag

He was the man then, he is still the man.Flag
