I pledge to not eat ANY chicken throughout the month of November unless it has been produced by a farm approved by a reputable animal welfare organisation, such as the SPCA (NZ) and the RSPCA (Aust).
If a huge number of people can refrain from eating chicken for one whole month, the chicken industry will be forced to realise that it is not just vegetarians and vegans who disapprove of their inhumane methods. Many more people disagree with the appalling and callous way chickens are treated, they only fail to see how their not eating chicken can have any effect.
But if we all act together - vegetarians and meat eaters with a conscience, November will become a month the chicken producers won't forget.
