Comments: Please stop the cruelty of chaining or tethering dogs. Once a dog goes outside and on a chain, they become neglected. Most of the time without ANY shelter, food or water! This is Inhumane! Let's put an end to this horror for all these beloved pets.

Comments: I have a dog named Jew aka Jew-Jew, Jewie, jewie-bear, etc... I chain him up outside everyday when I wake up so that he can do his business and I can do something else. But believe I would never in a million years let something like that happen to him, and if it was to flood right now he'd me right beside me, relocated to California eating a chicken bone.

Comments: Animals and people have rights. The difference between them and us is they can't fight for them. I hope that there are compassionate law officials that care about the well being of our animals.

Comments: although this issue may seem insignificant to most... Animals especially dogs, provide us humans with much needed unconditional love. Please, let's return the favor by treating them with the respect they deserve,

Comments: Such treatment of our nations convicted murderers, rapists, etc. and those on death row awaiting executtion would be deemed "cruel & unusual punishment" so why then would / should such cruelties against innocent defenseless voiceless animals ("man's best friend") be allowed

Comments: I am just appalled that the law allows this to happen. Some dogs I have seen are just merely just barely existing and not living. This is not a life for an animal. I can't imagine chaining and animal for a way of life. The waorst part is that not only do most states allow them to be chained , but they don't even have a chain length minimum. I guess you can chain a dog on a 1 foot chain as long as he has food, water and shelter. When is society going to demand better for our canine friends. ONly we can do something about this. Speak out to all your representatives and animal rights organizations. Do everything you can to help..WE MUST UNITE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
