We the undersigned, as citizens and business owners in Ventura, CA, wish to state our unequivocal opposition to the plan to allow people to sleep in their cars on public property. While we support programs designed for humanitarian relief for the homeless, we believe such a measure will be counter-productive in addressing homelessness in Ventura, and will negatively impact the business climate, quality of life, and overall appeal of our community.
