| 106 | Anonymous | It is about time that there is a law like that in Los Angeles... we non-smokers are FORCED to smell vile cigarette smoke and our children should be free to live in a SMOKE-FREE society!
PLEASE pass this legislation -- SMOKERS have too many rights and their bad habit shouldn't be forced upon us non-smkoing, healthy adults and children! |

I want nothing more for young people and people
who want to "stay young" , to never have any contact with any cigarette smoking anywhere. |

| 126 | Charlon McKenzie | Thank you so much for your hard work on the Ban Smoking in glendale campaign. My neighbor Julia Mikita and myself wrote an article in the Glendale News Press on July 1, 2007 to ban smoking in Glendale. Since then we have collected 69 signatures from people who attend the Tai Chi Classes at the Adult Rec Center on 201 E. Colorado Street in glendale weekly and a few members of the Sierra Club on our petition to ban smoking in Glendale. We would like to know if we can be of any help to you. Thank you for your work and we hope to hear from you. |
| 127 | Charlon McKenzie | Julia Mikita and myself have written an article in the glendale News Press on July 1, 2007 to ban smoking in glendale. We go to the Tai Chi class at the Adult Recreation Center on 201 E. Colorado Street in Glendale and practice Tai Chi exercises weekly with an emphasis on deep breathing. Our parks are full of habitual smoke addicts. Since July 1, 2007 we have collected 69 signatures from the Adult Recreation Center and some Sierra Club members to sign our Petition to Ban Smoking in Glendale. We would like to know how we can help you wih your campaign. I really appreciate the work you are doing to ban smoking in Glendale. |

| 135 | Matt Gunnell | Thanks for putting this together! When I moved back to Glendale from Northern California in 2001 I was shocked at the amount of smoking. I found it hard to enjoy many of the areas in Glendale due to rampant smoke! |

| 144 | Lisa Barrios | Imagine if smoking was something new, and smokers were seeking approval to light up in public places, including parks. Would anyone think it is a good idea to force the population to breathe second-hand smoke and be exposed to known carcinogens against their will? Of course not. Why should it be allowed to continue, just because smokers have enjoyed this undeserved and immoral privilege for years? |
