Hopefully, selling beer in corner stores and supermarkets will give the smaller breweries (which brew far superior beers to those brewed by Molson, Labbats and Sleeman) a chance to expose their beer to a wider market. |

They also often have very poor customer service, like many monopolies. There is often only one employee and a long line of customers stretching to the door. |

I was looking for a different type of beer , so after waiting in line for 15 mins. on Friday , the guy tells me , Sorry , we're out of the type you want. I ask for another , he goes into the back , comes back a few minutes later then says , it's buried out back and we can't get to it. Nice customer service! The shelves were empty also in this same store (as was the other store i was in)so most of the time was wasted by employees going off cash to get beer in the back . Very unorganized and i do think it's time to move out of the dark ages Ontario . |
