6258 Gerard KielyThe Beer Store does not foster fair competition among brewers nor does it provide good service in most stores. A shake up is needed.
6259 mike elliswhat is with the minumum price of 24 dollars for a case .of beer . if some one wants to sell for less it keeps everyone else in check. end the monopoly now!!!!!!!!!!!
6260 Anonymousthe prices should be the same as the beer store if not less.

6275 AnonymousI totally agree. I was born and raised in Barbados where wine, beer AND liquor were (and still is) sold in the grocery store! I find it to be a very narrow-minded, dollar-grabbing industry up here, with probition-like leaders trying to be do-gooders. Canada needs to wake up!

6282 martin campbellThis is a joke and it has been going on for way too long. The governments justification for this is if the prices stay high then it will discourage young people from drinking. That and the fact that the revenue from the taxes goes to programs to help people affected by excessive drinking.
6283 Ian GillespieAny monopoly, government-backed or not, harms competitiveness and leads to poorer outcomes for both producers and consumers. The Beer Store is a monopoly in the strictest sense of the term and we need to end this ridiculousness and open the beer market up, lowering prices, increasing sales of local brewers and making us all better off.
