Neighbors Against Another Bar on West 10th Street

54 Signatures Goal: 100

The State Liquor Authority is considering an application for a new liquor license for another bar in our neighborhood -- in the basement of 141 West 10th Street, which formerly housed Suds Laundromat.

The applicant has misrepresented 141 West 10th as a commercial building in a business district. Our residential street, which is home to 440 apartments, is already oversaturated with bars and restaurants. The residents of West 10th Street do not need or want the noise and trash associated with another bar on our street.

Please sign this petition to urge the State Liquor Authority to deny this application.

The West 10th & Waverly Block Association was formed in 2009. We are a group of neighbors, both residents and business owners, living and working on West 10th Street between 7th and Greenwich Avenues, and on Waverly Place between Christopher and Charles Streets. Our goal is to make our block quieter, cleaner and safer to live on and enjoy.
